Steven Mutch

I am the Principal Barrister of MutchLaw Ltd, operating within the criminal defence law jurisdiction, predominantly in Auckland but also throughout NZ. I value clear and concise communication with clients to ensure that they understand all court proceedings. I hold a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Bachelor of Business degree (majoring in Finance). I was previously employed within the NZ Defence Force as a Communications Systems Operator. This allowed me to provide a supporting role with the NZ Special Air Service (SAS) on deployments, where I gained invaluable theoretical and practical skills. I have also spent time on duty in Afghanistan in 2008 before returning to New Zealand to pursue my long-time passion for criminal law. Everybody deserves someone who can help them navigate the legal system, no matter their circumstances. I am proud to represent all my clients to the best of my ability.
